Early Spring Garden

Bloomin Tuesday is hosted by Jean at MsGreenthumbJean.

It's been a long winter in Minnesota! But with the current temperature of 63, I feel like spring, at least for today, has arrived. Some of the flowers and plants in my little garden are just starting to peek through.

Bleeding hearts ~ one of my favorites.

I can hardly wait to have lovely bouquets of Siberian Iris in my home.

The black-eyed susans are starting to appear...

... as is Sedum Autumn Joy. I need to trim back the old stalks.

Rhubarb ~ Mmmm ~ I can almost taste the strawberry-rhubarb tarts.

Buds of Miss Kim lilac

To see what is blooming in other gardens, visit Jean at MsGreenthumbJean.

Blessings,
Wanita

Our temps are going to drop 25 degrees tomorrow and we'll be in the 60s too, here in the desert. All your plants poking through hold the promise of a beautiful spring and summer garden!

Yes, I'm glad to see it come for you. Did you hear they are expecting a foot of snow in Denver. I'd have to pack up and move further South. Enough is enough.
