Today is my sweetie's birthday. Handsome, isn't he?
Tonight just the two of us will celebrate. Our daughter, son-in-love, and grands are out of town, so the family celebration will come later. Granddaughter and grandson will arrange the candles on the cake. They'll sit on Papa's lap while we sing happy birthday, then they'll help him blow out the candles. Not that he needs help, he just likes having those little ones on his lap ~ and they like having Papa hold them. The cake will be served, and we'll have a wonderful time enjoying one another's company and eating birthday cake! Happy birthday, Sweetie Pie! I love you! I hope you enjoy your birthday celebrations!
