Under the Weather a Bit

(Graphic courtesy of GranGran Graphics)

Please pray for my little five-year-old granddaughter. She had a bout with a virus about a month ago, and is having a bit of a problem again. She's able to eat and drink liquids, but when she eats, it seems to go straight through her. Fortunately she's not dehydrated and wasn't with the earlier bout of illness, but she certainly isn't feeling like herself.

She and her younger brother are to stay overnight with Nana and Papa. We are still planning on that; but, of course, things could change.

She called me earlier and said she had a few questions to ask:
"Do you have glitter, the kind you sprinkle on?"
"Can you handle diarrhea?"
"Can you handle throw up?"
(which she is not doing, but she wanted to cover all the bases, I guess.)

When I suggested that if she isn't feeling better she may want to stay home, she informed me that no, she didn't want to stay there.

So, we'll see how things go. I may be making a house call ~ just call me Dr. Nana!

If you would pray for her, and for the rest of the family that they not get ill, I would be so grateful. It's difficult when the adults get sick, but when it's the little ones, it seems even harder, at least for me. I think I'll never get to the point where I'm "anxious for nothing."

Blessings,
Wanita

Awww! That little girl thinks ahead! Ha! Ha! So cute! I will pray for her and all of you that you do not get this stuff. Sometimes it goes harder on the adults.
