Sing-a-Long Sunday

I Stand Amazed in the Presence
by Charles H. Gabriel

I stand amazed in the presence
Of Jesus the Nazarene,
And wonder how He could love me,
A sinner, condemned, unclean.

Refrain
O how marvelous! O how wonderful!
And my song shall ever be.
O how marvelous! O how wonderful!
Is my Savior’s love for me!

For me it was in the garden
He prayed: “Not My will, but Thine.”
He had no tears for His own griefs,
But sweat drops of blood for mine.

Refrain

He took my sins and my sorrows,
He made them His very own;
He bore the burden to Calvary,
And suffered and died alone.

Refrain

When with the ransomed in glory
His face I at last shall see,
’Twill be my joy through the ages
To sing of His love for me.

Refrain

I love the words of this song and even more so since we just finished a prophecy conference at our church. The thought I came away with tonight was even when Satan will be chained for the thousand years, people will still rebel against the Lord. The definition of the sinful nature is a disposition of hostility against the Lord. So, even if things were perfect, we would still sin because of our sin nature.

There was so much to hear and think about. It was really good.

Hope you had a wonderful Lord's Day also.
